A full moon rose over the sleeping city. The air was still, with only the occasional sound of a cricket chirping to break the silence. A small mist hugged the ground, adding the final touch for the serene scene.
Near the outskirts of town, atop a hill, was a small forest, where many various types of animals made their home. Most were asleep, their warm breath leaving small clouds of mist in the frosty air. Overhead, a large owl silently flew between the trees on its nightly hunt for insects.
